Chris Lyons, CFA

Chris Lyons is the head of the private credit group where he is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and management of all private debt securities Voya Investment Management invests on behalf of its clients. Chris has focused exclusively on the private debt markets for the firm since 1993, originally joining the team at the analyst level. Additional related experience includes work as a commercial bank line officer, commercial bank credit officer and debt capital markets specialist with SunTrust Banks, Inc. In addition to his duties in the private debt arena, he also serves on the executive leadership team for proprietary assets and is chairman of the Voya credit committee. Chris holds a BS in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Virginia L. O'Kelley, CFA
Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Private Credit

Virginia O'Kelley is the portfolio manager for the private credit team at Voya Investment Management. She is responsible for underwriting and managing the private investments that Voya Investment Management does on behalf of its third party clients. She has been a direct investor in the asset class since 2009 and has experience reviewing transactions across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to joining the company she was with Wells Fargo Corporation holding various analyst positions. Virginia has a BS with honors from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, a MBA with honors from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Greg R. Addicks, CFA
Senior Vice President and Team Leader, Private High Yield

Greg Addicks is the head of private high yield at Voya Investment Management. He has taken leadership roles in structuring, negotiating and managing restructurings in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico and several other countries. This included acting as lead negotiator/chairman of official and ad hoc creditors’ committees. In previous positions at Voya, Greg focused on international private credits with a concentration in emerging markets. He invested in and managed a variety of structured and unsecured debt securities in over 20 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Prior to joining the firm, Greg worked for NationsBank (and predecessors) from 1990 to 1997, mainly in the small- and middle-market corporate banking area. Greg has a BS in business administration from the University of Georgia, an MS in finance from the Georgia State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Gaurav Ahuja, CFA
Analyst, Private Credit High Yield

Gaurav Ahuja is a vice president on the private credit high yield team at Voya Investment Management and has been on the team since 2008. He is a lead analyst on new investments and underperforming credits. On the new investment side, Gaurav sources and underwrites new investment opportunities, conducts due diligence, coordinates with internal counsel and monitors the team’s portfolio companies. His role with underperforming credits includes analyzing, negotiating and managing all aspects of restructuring transactions on behalf of the firm. His experience in this role includes exposure to a wide variety of sectors and geographies including traditional U.S. credits and project finance, Australian commodities, European industrial and banking sector. Gaurav began his career at Voya in 2006, going through the firm’s leadership rotational program which provided the opportunity to work with Voya professionals in the areas of risk management, portfolio management and public investment grade trading. Before joining Voya, Gaurav spent four years at ICICI Bank and Yes Bank in India originating and underwriting corporate bank debt. In these roles he was responsible for managing a portfolio of over 25 middle market corporates and ensuring client-level profitability for the bank by managing all aspects of the bank’s association with the client including managing relationships, new product marketing, loan underwriting monitoring and client servicing. Gaurav earned a MBA from Emory University, where he was a Moore’s Scholar, and a BS in business administration from Delhi University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Avi Tolani, CFA
Analyst, Private Credit High Yield

Avi Tolani is an analyst on the private credit team at Voya Investment Management. He is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, structuring, and executing senior and junior capital solutions with a focus on the high yield credits. In addition, he is also involved with negotiating and managing the restructuring of the firm’s underperforming credits. Prior to joining Voya, Avi spent seven years focused on the distressed and special situations assets, most recently as a director with Sandler O’Neill & Partners and as a vice president at Gleacher & Company, where he advised companies and creditors in executing a variety of strategic alternatives. Prior to his position at Gleacher & Company, Avi was a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ corporate finance practice, where he executed cross-border restructuring and M&A transactions across a broad array of industries. Avi graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in finance and a BA in economics and was a recipient of the Outstanding Scholars Award. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Fitz Wickham, CFA
Credit Analyst, U.S. Credit

Fitz Wickham is a credit analyst and a member of the investment grade fixed income research team at Voya Investment Management. His coverage responsibilities include electricity and natural gas utilities, project finance, midstream energy, REITs and tobacco. Previously, Fitz spent six years with the firm’s private credit group, where he managed privately negotiated investments in the energy, utility, banking/brokerage and project finance sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Fitz was a corporate banking relationship manager with Wachovia Securities. Fitz received a BS in commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia and an MBA with a finance concentration from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
